Natalie Voss is a freelance writer and editor based in Kentucky. She received her bachelor's degree in equine science with honors from the University of Kentucky and has worked in both public relations and journalistic capacities since then. Her work includes features, breaking news, profiles, press releases, and web content on a variety of topics including equine and local news. She also does promotional writing including ads, product descriptions, and social media management for a limited number of small businesses. Voss received third place in the 2014 Kentucky Press Awards in the best sports feature category for "Keeneland's switch back to dirt could appeal to Breeders' Cup and Derby contenders" and in 2011 for her feature titled, "For the love of horses."
